Huddersfield Comic-Con returns in March to the Accu Stadium, the home of Huddersfield Town and the Giants too.

On Saturday 21st March some of the biggest movie replica props will see life size thrones from Little Mermaid and Game of Thrones, Ollivaner's Wand Shop from Harry Potter and much more. There will be movie cars from tv classics such as A-Team, The Bill and InBetweeners as well as movie cars such as Bumblebee from Transformers and both Lightning McQueen and The King from Disney Pixar Cars.

Along with a host of Star Wars and superhero characters you'll find giant transformers and more all intermingled with actual movie and tv stars such as Power Rangers Jeff Pazzaro and Kevin Duhanny who are being flown in from Toronto. Joining them is Toronto born but UK based Game of Thrones WhiteWalker and Dr Who's The Silence, Ross Mullan. Victoria Ballard, co-organiser of the event said 'To be able to bring in international guests to our home town's comic-con shows just how far it's come since it started in 2017 and to hold it in a stadium we hold dear to our heart is an absolute dream!'

With some fabulous traders bringing the most unusual geeky goods and a huge cosplay competition for those who enjoy the dressing up side of the show there really is something for everyone to enjoy at this year's Comic-Con.

This year the event has chosen to partner up with Huddersfield Town Foundation this year as the event's supported charity. Martin Ballard, co-organiser said ' Every year we work with a charity either local to us or close to our thoughts, and this year we knew it was important to bring in Huddersfield Town Foundation. With all the work they do in the local community it is absolutely critical to support their work in a cost of living crisis - providing 3 million breakfasts since 2012 is an amazing achievement and listening to those involved with the charity it's clear there is real momentum and partnering with them gives them a platform to an entirely different, but 100% relevant audience who may not have seen the great stuff they've been doing in the community.'

Tickets are on sale now at 25% off at the website www.huddscomiccon.co.uk - Buying ahead of the day gets you the tickets at the cheapest possible price and allows you to swiftly walk in on the day to get inside and enjoy the fun which starts at 10am on Saturday 21st March with things going on all day. A programme will be available to buy on the day with all profits going to the Foundation.
